Domestic & International
All order dispatches shall be done only against receipt of payment to our account for all modes of payment.
Shipping charges are applicable on each product individually and collected along with the product value at the time of payment.
The shipping rates for many items are based on the actual or volumetric weight as per global shipping norms. All weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram.
Estimated shipping rates will be quoted once the order is placed and can be viewed before checkout.
Shipping and delivery estimates depend on product availability and logistics partners. Some estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Deliveries within India are done via Speed Post. International courier partners vary based on product categories.
The shipping charges quoted exclude Duty, Tax, and other destination charges. These must be paid by the customer/consignee directly to customs or service providers.
Orders for GIRI Books & Gita CDs ship within 3–5 business days. Other products may take 5–15 business days, depending on availability and shipping method selected. Postal shipments differ based on destination.

National Shipments
- Registered Post – Minimal charges. Transit time: 5–7 working days
- Speed Post – Premium charges. Transit time: 3–7 working days
- Metros & Prime Cities – 2–4 working days
International Shipments
Air Shipments
- Orders below 15 kg: 5–10 business days
- Orders 15 kg and above: 10–20 business days

Sea Shipments
- Minimum weight: 1 CBM Transit time: 25–45 business days
For all International shipments, duties and taxes must be borne & paid by the consignee.
Orders for Idols (1 ft and above)
- Orders confirmed only via email
- Custom-made idols include approval based on sample images
- Manufacturing timeline is approximate and may vary
- Certification by Govt of India is mandatory for export
- Certification occurs monthly on a fixed date
- Dispatch happens only after certification
- Local transportation charges apply based on idol value
If your shipping zone is not listed during checkout, you will see a message: "Your Zone is not listed for Shipping. Please send an email to sales@giri.in"
Add items to cart and submit as an enquiry. Shipping charges will be sent by email. Once confirmed via email, an invoice for shipping will be generated separately.
You may also place an order immediately and request shipping in the order remarks.
Some products (certain foods, perfumery, DG items, oil/ghee products) cannot be shipped internationally unless shipped by sea with a minimum gross weight of 70 kg.
If these items are included in an order, they will be excluded during packing and the excess amount will remain as store credit.
After payment against invoice, the shipping address cannot be changed.
Domestic deliveries are through Courier or Post; international shipments depend on product category.
Shipping charges exclude any destination-side charges payable by the consignee.
Partial Shipment
Orders can be shipped partially based on product availability. Additional shipping charges may apply for re-shipment.
If pending items in a partial shipment are cancelled, refunds will apply only to the product value — shipping & tax components are non-refundable.
Packing of Products
Products are packed by trained professionals based on the nature and size of the product. Items above 5 kg may incur additional packing charges depending on destination.
Packing weight is added as a variable to each product. Packing charges apply to all international shipments.
Packing of Delicate Products
Clay, Paper Mache, Terracotta, Glass, Metal Artifacts, Stone Artifacts, Soft Stone, Fibre, Marble, etc. require special packing. GIRI follows stringent packing standards, however damages caused by transit handling cannot be claimed.
Offers, discounts, shipping time, processing time, product images & pricing apply only to online orders and not in retail stores.
