Domestic & International

All Order Dispatches shall be done against receipt of payment to our account only for all modes of payments.

Shipping charges are applicable on each and every product individually and are collected along with the product value at the time of payment. The weight listed on the product page is

The shipping rates for many items we sell are based on the weight/ volumetric weight, which is always higher as per the global shipping norms. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram.

Estimated Shipping Rates will be quoted once the order is placed and you can calculate the same before checking out.

We estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of your items and the shipping options we deal with and choose to send each product. Depending on the shipping provider we choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

All Deliveries within India are done through Speed Post, International couriers are done based on the products ordered as per the order placed by the customer.

The shipping charges quoted are exclusive of Duty, Tax and any Other end charges as applicable at the destination country. They have to be borne and paid to the concerned entities—customs house/service provider—by the customer/consignee at the time of receiving the parcel.

Orders placed for GIRI BOOKS & GITAA CDS usually ship in 3 to 5 business days (Business Days means 5 days from Monday to Friday).

Other Music CDs & cassettes, Books and Products, usually ship in 5 to 15 business days, subject to the availability of all products if the user opts for courier service. The postal dispatches will differ based on the destination and postal rates are not readily available to book online orders. They are applicable only on orders placed through enquiry form or enquiry to sales@giri.in.

Working Day: Monday-Friday.
Ship time: Time taken for Fulfillment + Packing + Logistics connecting time.
Delivery Time: The time taken for each logistics service differs from product to product and destination to destination for each and every Logistics service.

National shipments:

Registered Post - Minimal shipping charges applicable for all items. Transit time 5 to 7 working days
Speed Post - Premium Shipping charges, applicable for all items. Transit time 3 to 7 working days
Metros & Prime Cities - 2 to 4 working days

International Shipments:

Air Shipments

For Orders below 15 kg, Normal intransit time is 5 to 10 Business days
For Orders 15 kgs and above 15 kgs weight, Normal intransit time is 10 to 20 Business days

At odd instances, this may vary due to extraneous circumstances.

Sea Shipments

For Sea shipments, minimum weight is 1 cbm, 25 to 45 Business days in transit.

For all International Shipments, Other end Duties and Taxes to be borne & paid by consignee

Orders for idols, which are 1 ft and above:

Orders shall be confirmed only by email
For customised idols orders, sample images only will be sent, against which the order can be confirmed.
The timeline for making idols quoted is approximate, real time may vary
The idols have to be certified as new and custom made as per the order by the Govt of India
This process is done every month on a particular date only, and the date shall be updated to you.
Dispatch shall be done only after the idols are certified for shipment.
Local transportation charges based on the idol's value are applicable for the certification process.

The shipping rates currently will be reflected automatically only for the Zones listed in the shipping list. For the rest of the Zones, both National & International, you will see a message "Your Zone is not listed for Shipping Please Send Email sales@giri.in" Please send an Email to sales@giri.in.

The items can be added to the cart and sent as enquiry. The shipping charges shall be sent by email to you. On receipt of confirmation for shipping charges by email, we shall send an invoice to your email id to make payment for shipping separately.

Alternatively, you can proceed to place an order for items alone and make payment immediately and request for shipping in order remarks.

Normally all products can be shipped to any address in the world, though please note that there are restrictions on some products(certain food products, perfumeries, DG categorised, Oil/ghee products), and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations(certain food products, perfumeries, DG categorised, Oil/ghee products). Though they could be shipped through sea, the minimum gross weight for such products should be 70 kgs. Though you will be able to add these products to your cart and pay for them, the items will be omitted at the packing level and you will be informed about the amount balance in your account with us, which will remain as store credit to use for future orders.

Once the payment is made against an invoice, the shipping address cannot be changed.

All Deliveries within India are done through Courier or Post, International couriers are done based on the products ordered.

Partial shipment:

Any Order can be done as partial shipment, based on the availability of the product against confirmation of customer. The shipping charges incurred in such cases would change and the real time shipping charges would be required once the reshipment is arranged through email. Incase of cancellation of the pending items of a partial shipment, the refund for such orders would be done only of the Order value and not the shipping charges collected and taxes incurred on the order value or shipping charges.

Packing of Product:

Packaging is done by a team of experts, who specialise in packaging the products we deal with, as we understand their importance. The packing is done based on the nature of the product. We take utmost care for each and every product of an order, check for quality and quantity for each order and proceed for packing. The packing process will differ from product to product based on the Nature and Size, dimensions. The packing charges for most of the items are added along with the shipping charges, while for a product with a weight of 5 kgs and above the packing shall be quoted separately based on the destination to send.

We have added packing weight as a variable to each product, which will reflect in the product weight. The packing charges are also applicable for all products for shipment outside India.

Packing of Delicate Nature Products:

Clay, Paper Mache, Terracotta, Glass, Metal Articrafts, Stone-Made Articrafts, Soft stone articrafts, Fibre make, mableduct, Marble and other delicate natured products-GIRI takes utmost care in packing these products & employs experienced courier, shipper and logistic agents to deliver goods across the globe. The Company has a very good track record of delivering the goods, adhering with safety procedures, certifications and stipulations that are applicable in India. Despite these safety measures, there are chances that products may get damaged in transit due to manhandling at different levels. And, for such damages occurred during transit and due to manhandling outbound the limits of our premises, GIRI cannot be held responsible.

Offers, Discounts, Packs, Special rates, Shipping time, Processing time, Products displayed on website, all are only applicable for Orders placed and paid via Online and not applicable for our Retail Outlets.
